More About Steve Waterhouse
Steve Waterhouse started his career as a design engineer for Raytheon Corporation, working on the Patriot Missile System and other military projects. He realized early that his personality, energy and drive were not an ideal fit for the engineering environment.
He found a better fit in technical sales, selling semiconductors in the Boston and the Northeast markets for the Sprague Electric Company. There he achieved record sales and developed their most successful marketing campaign for new catalogs.
It was during this time that Steve took up the sport of rock climbing, spending many weekends in North Conway, NY, Ragged Mountain, CT and The Gunks in New York. He also did extensive hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire in all four seasons.
Recruited by a struggling semiconductor testing company in Portland, Maine, Steve took on the role of Director of Sales and Marketing for Vortech Corporation. The company’s sales increased by 300% in 24 months leading to a successful sale of the company to one of the world’s largest contract manufacturers.
As an entrepreneur, Steve has successfully launched several businesses. He founded and developed Waterhouse Communications Newspaper Group, the largest community newspaper in the State of Maine. He also challenged the U.S. Postal Service with the state’s first private mail delivery service.
Having succeeded in dramatically growing sales for each of his previous companies, Steve founded the Waterhouse Group, an international sales training, consulting and speaking business. Clients included Xerox, IBM, AT&T, United Airlines. Mr. Waterhouse has spoken on 5 continents, 13 countries and 48 states.
A published author, Steve wrote “The Team Selling Solution” published by McGraw-Hill, “Ending The Blame Game”, published by Englander Press, and many articles, whitepapers and training programs. He had been interviewed and quoted in Sales & Marketing Magazine, Entrepreneur Magazine, Selling Power Magazine, Training and Development Magazine, Chicago Tribune, Newsday and countless business newspapers nationally.
In 2007, Steve was offered the opportunity to represent the Predictive Index assessments as part of his consulting business. Quickly realizing the power of these tools, he formed a new company named Predictive Results and became the fastest growing licensee for Predictive Index worldwide.

Now in Florida and having no mountains to climb, Steve turned to his bike and eventually to racing. Hooked on the speed, challenge and comradery in the racing community, he became a fixture on the Florida masters circuit, winning the eight state championships.
In 2017 Steve sold Predictive Results to The Predictive Index so he and his wife Gina could “retire”. This website is a testament to the failure of that goal. At the request of numerous clients, and to satisfy his drive to always do something new, he opened this coaching business to share his lifetime of success and experience with others.
